Oregon Trip - Tillimook & Cape Lookout

Laurie wanted to see the Tillimook Cheese Factory. It reminded me of the factory from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.



We dropped off David and Frank at the Tillimook Airplane Museum. They spent hours checking out all the antique airplanes. All the planes were capable of flying and were sometimes taken to airshows. The guys really enjoyed their museum day.


Along the seaside road of Three Capes Loop we were treated to this amazing sunset.

When we got up the next morning , Laurie and I walked down to the beach. It was unique being there amongst the fog and cool ocean breeze. This was the scene where Laurie and I witnessed a man run into the ocean for a dip and then run to the beach and then he ran back into the water again. Unbelieveable - it was cold out.
